In his book Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell identifies the years around 1955 as the best time to become a software millionaire. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt all have birthdays in 1955. However, an examination of a larger dataset of 41 software millionaires reveals twice as many were born outside the 1950s.
